Description
THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTION. IT WAS A SUCCESSFUL WORKSHOP. Attention: We have found a mobile phone case. Please contact us if you are missing it -> p.lindenberg@gsi.de ************************************************** The H4F Workshop FAIR detectors and accelerators will be jointly organized by the H4F expert Groups 3 and 4. The main topics are to identify and discuss the physical and technical limits of both detectors and accelerators related to the beam parameter. In addition, the required adjustment and optimization of the FAIR accelerator's performance to serve the needs of the experimental set-ups will be identified and discussed. The workshop will start with overview talks on the accelerators and the detectors to provide both communities according background information. More details will be provided by talks, which focuss on the performance and technical limits of the different systems. Finally working groups will discuss and explore the requirements from the detectors to the accelerators. The outcome will be summarized in a report. Topics: • Presentation of the expected performance of the FAIR accelerator chain • Presentation of the requirements of the FAIR detectors • Identification of the match / deviation of the performance / beam parameters of the accelerator to the requirements of the detectors • Interface between accelerators and detectors (internal targets, production targets, time structure, …) ************************************************** C O N F E R E N C E __F E E 300,00 EUR (incl. single hotel room, conference service, except dinner on Wednesday and Thursday).
