Physics of High net-baryon Densities - PHD 2025
The international workshop, Physics of High net-baryon Densities (PHD2025), is a satellite meeting of the International Conference Quark Matter 2025. PHD2025 will take place at GSI in Wixhausen from April 13 to 15, 2025. The workshop aims to explore recent advancements and future directions in unraveling the phase diagram of strongly interacting QCD matter, with a particular focus on the high net-baryon density regime. Discussions will include insights from the RHIC/BNL, SPS/CERN, and SIS/GSI heavy-ion programs, along with related theoretical developments and activities at current and planned facilities, such as FAIR. While emphasizing relativistic heavy-ion collisions at low energies, the workshop will also address alternative approaches to investigating this regime, including neutron star mergers and the fragmentation region at higher energies.
