The conference takes place in the "Welcome Hotel" in the very center of Darmstadt and right beside it's most prominent park, the English style former royal garden "Herrngarten". The venue is easy to reach via a direct bus connection between the airport Frankfurt and Darmstadt, the so called "Airliner" (link), or in general by public transport (local transport rmv.de, long distance transport bahn.de).

With Public Transportation:
Starting at Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof (Central station): From here, public transportation (Bus F/FM, Bus K and tram lines 2 or 3) will take you to the stop "Schloss" and after a 5 minute walk you will reach the Hotel.
Starting at Luisenplatz: You can either walk there in 8 min, or use public transportation to the stop "Schloss" and reduce the walking time to 5 min. (rmv.de from "Luisenplatz" to "Schloss")
By Car: A5/A67 "Darmstädter Kreuz": Take the DARMSTADT STADTMITTE exit and follow the signs "Zentrum/Stadtmitte, Richtung Technische Universität" on Rheinstraße. Drive through the City Tunnel until you reach the end of the City Ring intersection. Turn left here and continue on this road. When you see the darmstadtium (big modern building) on your right, turn left. The hotel will be on your right. At the next traffic light, turn directly into the underground parking entrance "Schlossgarage/Karolinenplatz." In the parking garage, drive to the end where the hotel section is located.
From B26 (coming from Aschaffenburg): Follow the B26 to Darmstadt, passing Ostbahnhof (East Station), until you reach the City Ring. Follow the City Ring to the right; the hotel is on your right.
