The RICH2025 Workshop is expected to be attended by scientists coming from different countries worldwide. Traveling to Germany has never been more organized and stress-free, no matter what the purpose of your travel is. Due to the Schengen Agreement of 1985, the citizens of the Schengen member states can access Germany by exhibiting a valid identification document and can travel visa-free throughout the territory. Currently, citizens of 62 countries can enter Germany visa-free for the purpose of tourism/visiting and business for periods shorter than 90 days within a 180-day period.
The list of countries together with the information to get a VISA to enter Germany are available at the link:
https://www.germany-visa.org
GSI can provide an official invitation letter to the participants requiring it for obtaining a visa. Please note that it may take up to four weeks to generate the invitation letter. The request must be addressed to rich2025@gsi.de.
Please note that we will not be able to provide an invitation letter to researchers affiliated with institutions in the Russian Federation or in the Republic of Belarus (please refer to the participation policy page).
