Proceedings Information

RICH2025 Special Issue:

In the tradition of the previous RICH workshops, RICH2025 will feature peer-reviewed proceedings in the Elsevier journal "Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research, Section A" (NIM-A).  The authors of all accepted contributions are invited to submit their manuscript to this special RICH2025 issue.

Proceedings Submission:

The deadline for the contribution submission is January 15, 2026.

The NIM-A proceedings submission portal is now open at https://www.editorialmanager.com/nima_proceedings/

Log on with your Editorial Manager username and password (or use the "Register Now" button to create a new account) and make sure to select “VSI: RICH2025” when you reach the “Article Type” drop-down menu in the submission process to ensure that the manuscript is assigned to the RICH2025 issue.

The final selection of papers for publication in NIM-A will be made by the International Scientific Advisory Committee, based on the quality of the contribution.

Page limits:

  • Posters must not exceed 3 pages ;
  • Contributed talks (talk duration 20 mins) must not exceed 4 pages;
  • Invited talks (talk duration 30 mins)  must not exceed 8 pages.
  • The page limit is for the entire manuscript (including including the abstract, acknowledgements, bibliography, and author list) in the two-column layout. We ask you to kindly adhere to this strict limit. If the author list or bibliography are unusually long, the editor may accept manuscripts that exceed the page limit.

Formatting:

The paper should be written in LaTeX or Microsoft Word. All manuscript should include line numbers on the left side and be submitted both in single-column format for the review and in two-column format to show the length of the article in the final format.

For articles submitted in LaTeX, we recommend using the settings

\documentclass[preprint,1p,times]{elsarticle}
\usepackage{lineno}

for the review, and

\documentclass[5p,times]{elsarticle}

to determine the number of pages of your manuscript in the final NIM-A layout.

The "Guide for Authors" on the Elsevier site provides more details.
