Travel & Venue

Registered participants are offered free lunch in the CNRS campus restaurant located in building 20 every conference day from Monday 23rd to Friday 27th of September between 12h-14h.

VENUE

The meeting will take place at the CNRS Campus in Gif-sur-Yvette.

Sites: CNRS Château (building 03, ground floor),

CNRS I2BC auditorium (building 21, ground floor), meeting rooms "blue" (building 21, ground floor) or "salle 2" room (building 31, ground floor). The participants are invited to consult the programme.


TRAVEL

The best way to travel to Paris is by airplane or by train. The CNRS campus is located at about 30 km south-west from Paris, and is accessible from Paris, by RER B, "Gif-sur-Yvette" station

  • from Roissy CDG airport:
    Take RER B (direction Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse) and get out at "Gif-sur-Yvette" station; during week-days regular trains depart every 15 minutes (travel time ~80 min)
  • from Orly airport:
    Take Orlyval train (direction Antony) to Antony station, change with RER B (direction Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse) up to "Gif-sur-Yvette" station (travel time ~40 min)
  • from Paris-Gare de Lyon:
    Take RER A to Saint-Germain-en-Laye; change at Châtelet and take RER B towards Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse up to "Gif-sur-Yvette" station (travel time ~60 min)
  • from Paris-Gare de l’Est:
    Take Metro 5 (direction Bobigny Pablo-Picasso) for one station to Gare du Nord (can also walk 8-10 min); change at Gare du Nord with RER B (direction Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse) and get out at "Gif-sur-Yvette" station (travel time ~50 min) 

Metro-RER-Bus Transport information:

It takes 10-15 minutes to walk from the "Gif-sur-Yvette" station to the CNRS campus.

The campus can be accessed by the main gate, as indicated on the map. All registered participants may only need to identify themselves to freely enter/exit the campus.
