Beschreibung
The program of the SPARC collaboration at FAIR is a unique research program on highly-charged heavy ions that utilizes storage ring and trapping facilities. In this talk, a short overview on various current and future activities with some emphasis on laser-related work will be given, including possibilities for experiments at the High-Energy Storage Ring HESR and the Cryring facility, which offer new exciting prospects for atomic spectrosocpy.
