Upon arrival on Sunday 16th afternoon, before the official start of the doctoral school the following day, you are invited to a walking dinner at 6:30 pm at “La FABRYK”, 74 boulevard Jean XXIII, 69008 Lyon, located at less than 20 minutes’ walk from the Lagrange hotel. On Thursday 20th afternoon, a guided-tour will lead you for 2 hours and a half long through the old town of Lyon, Lugdunum, located on a hill and overlooking the city. The visit starts from the top, before the “Basilique de Fourvière” and will take down the hill through its narrows streets, filled with history and anecdotes.
Afterward, you will enjoy some free time and slowly direct yourself to the Dinner’s place, the Brasserie Georges, an iconic Brasserie serving traditional local dishes in a large dining room.
