Conference venue
The NUSTAR Week 2025 will take place in the premises of the Czech Association of Scientific and Technical Societies, Novotneho lavka 200/5, Prague 1, Czechia (location on Google maps), where the plenary sessions, the professional meetings, and the LEB Workshop will be held. The venue is located in the historic centre of Prague in the vicinity of the famous Charles Bridge. The nearest tram stop is Karlovy lazne (Trams 17, 18, 2), which is directly by the venue, and the nearest metro station is Staromestska (Line A - green), which is a 7-min walk or a 1-stop ride (Trams 17, 18, 2) away (0.45 km/0.28 mi).
Social events
There will be two separate social events that will be held at different locations (see the map below):
The beerparty (Tuesday, September 30) will take place at the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering, CTU in Prague, Brehova 78/7, Prague 1 (location on Google maps), on the terrace located on the 2nd floor. The faculty building is located downstream of the river Vltava on the same bank. To get there, one can take a 10-min walk from the conference venue (0.75 km/0.47 mi) or take the Tram 17 (4 min ride, 2 stops) to the Pravnicka fakulta stop.
The conference dinner (Wednesday, October 1) will take place at the Botel Admiral, Horejsi Nabrezi, Prague 5 (location on Google maps; Botel Admiral website). The restaurant is located upstream of the river Vltava on the other bank. To get there, one can take a 30-min walk from the conference venue (1.90 km/1.18 mi) or take the Tram 17 (6 min ride, 3 stops) to the Palackeho namesti stop and then cross the river (7 min walk, 0.55 km/0.34 mi). Please note that the Botel Admiral is a big boat by the bank of the Vltava river.
