During the hands-on data challenge sessions, participants will have the opportunity to apply the methodology presented. A light data analysis of a gamma-ray spectroscopy dataset will be used for this purpose.
This session will provide a chance to explore and work with practical aspects of data management practices.
Using two experimental datasets, participants will develop data management skills and gain experience with relevant software in a collaborative context. They will apply data management plans, software version control, and metadata creation to highlight the importance and benefits of data management in enhancing scientific practices.
The work will be carried out in teams, with efforts made to balance skill sets across the different groups.
