Beschreibung

This work presents an investigation of isospin equilibration in cross-bombarding 48,40Ca+48,40Ca reactions at 35 MeV/nucleon, by comparing experimental data with filtered transport model calculations. In particular, isospin diffusion is studied from the evolution of the isospin transport ratio with centrality. The asymmetry δ=(NZ)/A of the quasiprojectile residue is used as an isospin-sensitive observable, while a recent method for impact parameter distribution estimation is used for centrality sorting, proven to be suitable for the whole range of impact parameter.
