Description

The LHCb experiment carries out precision measurements of CP asymmetries in the heavy quark sector in order to look for signs of physics beyond the Standard Model. If present, new physics amplitudes can interfere with SM processes and affect CP asymmetry observables such that they might deviate from predicted CKM values. The LHCb program includes a wide search for CP observables in different B-decay topologies. In this talk several recent B-decay results will be presented as well as a charming surprise.
