"Beam Dynamics meets Diagnostics" Workshop
4-6 November 2015, Florence, Italy.
This meeting continue the mandate of EuCARD2 XBEAM Network to contribute
to breaking down barriers among groups of expertise in the accelerator community.
"Beam dynamics meets Diagnostics" is an EuCARD2 XBEAM-XRING workshop,
which purpose is to create forum for discussions between beam dynamics
experts and beam instrumentation experts. The overlapping between these
two communities is strong, and although the methodologies of investigation
of one community of the other becomes sometimes mixed, it is of common
awareness that the cooperation and synergies could be improved. In other
workshops, as the HB series, there are sessions dedicated to BI to the
purpose of creating new bridges among both the communities. However, these
attempts of mixing have never triggered a new level of discussion or of synergies.
"Beam dynamics meets Diagnostics" is the first workshop constructed to
attempt a new level of discussion on synergies and to confront on different
methods and techniques used by both communities. In particular the present
and future challenges of beam instrumentation for meeting the present and
future challenges of experimental beam dynamics studies will be a topic.
To the participation to the workshop a workshop fee of 210 euros is required.
The fee will cover 3 workshop lunches in the "Convitto della Calza", and the
workshop dinner. The payment procedure is explained in the registration

In order to enable an iCal export link, your account needs to have an API key created. This key enables other applications to access data from within Indico even when you are neither using nor logged into the Indico system yourself with the link provided. Once created, you can manage your key at any time by going to 'My Profile' and looking under the tab entitled 'HTTP API'. Further information about HTTP API keys can be found in the Indico documentation.
Additionally to having an API key associated with your account, exporting private event information requires the usage of a persistent signature. This enables API URLs which do not expire after a few minutes so while the setting is active, anyone in possession of the link provided can access the information. Due to this, it is extremely important that you keep these links private and for your use only. If you think someone else may have acquired access to a link using this key in the future, you must immediately create a new key pair on the 'My Profile' page under the 'HTTP API' and update the iCalendar links afterwards.
