Scientific Program

In order to allow the attendance of all sessions, no parallel sessions will be held. For the detailed workshop program, please refer to the Timetable.

The scientific program will concentrate on the following topics:
  • Experiments with antiprotons and antihydrogen
  • Highly charged ions in traps and rings for spectroscopy
  • Interactions of low-energy highly charged ions and antiprotons with composite and solid targets
  • Nuclear and particle physics with antiprotons
  • Heavy-ion experiments, ion surface interactions, collision dynamics
  • X-ray spectroscopy of antiprotonic atoms
  • New instrumentation and facilities
