This talk introduces the role of Data Management Plans (DMPs) in European research, highlighting their importance in EU-funded projects, FAIR principles, and Open Science practices. It also presents the practical benefits of DMPs for researchers and infrastructures, with examples of tools and implementation approaches such as DS-Wizard.
