EMMI Workshop "5th Workshop on Anti-Matter, Hyper-Matter and Exotica Production"

The Salone dei Marmi—so named because it is almost entirely lined with exquisite marble in the colors of Salerno (gold, red, and blue)—is softly illuminated by opaline lamps and adorned with a series of paintings by the Salerno-born artist Pasquale Avallone.

In 1944, the Salone dei Marmi hosted the first meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Government of National Unity. With a seating capacity of 400, it is used not only for City Council sessions, but also for conferences, conventions, and public events.
