Brief overview of the excursion:
Departure from the hotel at 2 pm. We drive to the Rifugio Sapienza, which is located at around 1900 m above sea level. Here you can take the cable car that will take you to about 2500 m above sea level, from where the summit of Mount Etna can be seen. If you don't want to take the cable car, you can take a short walk to the Crateri Silvestri, located near the Rifugio.
Return to the hotel at 8 pm.
