The QCD at FAIR 2025 Workshop will take place at the Grand Hotel Faraglioni located in Aci Castello, a town 9 km north of Catania on the Mediterranean coast.
Catania can be reached by air or train transportation.
We recommend air transportation to the Catania International Airport (airport code CTA), served by several major and low cost companies.
Once you arrived at the airport, you can reach the Hotel Grand Faraglioni in Aci Castello by first taking the bus service called ALIBUS, run by the AMTS company, from the airport to the Central Train Station of Catania (Stazione Centrale). From there, change to the bus number 534 up to the stop 1660 (beginning of Via Provinciale). From there, walk about 300 meters and you will be at the hotel. The total time to reach the hotel from the airport is about 1 hour and 35 minutes.

You can also take a TAXI from the airport to Aci Castello. The price can vary depending on the company – usually the cheapest rate (around €40) is offered by RadioTaxi (+39 095330966), depending on the day and time.
