MAT Collaboration Meeting 2026

The suggested public transport connection to Mathildenhohe is as follows:

1. 17:38 Bus G in front of GSI leaves. We get out at Darmstadt-Arheilgen Dreieichweg at 17:44.
2. 17:46 Tram6 leaves from Darmstadt-Arheilgen Dreieichweg. We get out at Luisenplatz at 18:06.
3. 18:09 Bus FM leaves from platform 1. We get out at Lucasweg/Hochzeitsturm at 18:15.

We have a number of 5-person day passes for public transport. The names of the five travelers need to be written onto the paper ticket. The ticket is valid for these travelers specifically.

The rally point is the Infopoint Mathildenhoehe at Olbrichweg 10 (very close to the Hochzeitsturm) for the tour. Be there at 18:30. Dinner after the tour will be at Shiraz. Be there at 19:30.

The way back to GSI via public transport would be every 30 minutes as follows:

1. At 21:37 from Lucasweg Bus FM to Luisenplatz at 21:44
2. At 21:45 from platform 4 Luisenplatz  with Tram 8 to Darmstadt-Arheilgen Dreieichweg arriving 22:02
3. At 22:04 Bus WX to Darmstadt Wixhausen Messeler Park Strasse arriving 22:07
4. a brisk 10 minute walk down Messeler Park Strasse to the east until you arrive at GSI

The day group tickets can be used until 5:00 am the next morning ;)
