This single-day EMMI Workshop aims to thoroughly review recent experimental and theoretical progress in the field of soft photon production.

This includes the following topics:

1. In-depth investigations of recent state-of-the-art higher-order corrections on soft-photon production and potential inconsistencies regarding momentum conservation.

2. Exploring the potential to test fundamental properties of gauge theories in the soft sector using the LHCf experiment at the LHC, particularly in the most forward rapidity region, with a focus on the upcoming oxygen run in 2025.

3. Advancing the conceptual design of an ultra-low pT forward photon spectrometer with the proposed ALICE 3 Experiment.

This workshop is intended to engage a diverse audience. We particularly encourage the participation of students and postdoctoral researchers. This is an exciting new research area, and we warmly welcome newcomers eager to explore the field.

For participation registration is strictly required - both for in-person and online participation.
