Accommodation:
Participants will be accommodated in locations operated by the Ettore Majorana Foundation (San Francesco, San Rocco, San Domenico and San Giovanni). Booking is automatically guaranteed after registration via this website - you do not need to book separately!
Local registration and room allocation is upon your arrival on September 16 in the conference office at "San Rocco", Via Gian Filippo Guarnotti 26, Erice, see Map of Erice.
Important note:
In recent years some participants got phone calls or e-mails from persons claiming that they are responsible for hotel reservations in Erice and asking them for their credit card number. Please be aware that such calls or e-mails are fraud! The accommodation is entirely arranged by the local staff of the "Ettore Majorana Foundation and Centre for Scientific Culture" in Erice, based on the data you specified in the arrival and departure information form. They will never approach you directly (neither by phone nor by e-mail) and they will not ask you for your credit card number.
Transport:
Transportation from the airport in Palermo or Trapani to Erice (and back) is organised by the Ettore Majorana Foundation, provided you arrive/depart at the default dates, i.e. 16th and 22nd of September. To this end, the Foundation needs your exact arrival and departure information (times and flight numbers, accompanying persons, etc.). To provide this information we ask you to fully complete your registration form until August 31 (deadline).
If you do not fully complete the form by August 31, we will assume that you do not come and cancel your participation.
The busses/cars will be arranged by the Ettore Majorana Foundation according to your arrival and departure information. Note that they will not send you a separate confirmation. However, they are very experienced and it always worked well in the past. When you arrive at the airport, just go to the arival hall and look for a person with a sign "Erice". Transportation to the airport on September 22 will be organized during your stay in Erice.

If you plan to arrive or depart on other days than the default ones:
- If you arrive earlier than September 16, we recommend a visit to Palermo. Then please indicate in your arrival a form a convenient time when you will be at the airport at the 16th and you will be picked up.
- If you arrive later than September 16 you must organize your travel to Erice by yourself and at your own cost.
- If you depart earlier than September 22 you may ask the local staff in Erice to organize a taxi for you. However, please be aware that you may have to pay for it by yourself.
