Certificate of Participation
Due to a number of requests in the past years, we would like to point out that no certificates or similar documents can be issued for the virtual participation in the TASCA 23 workshop!
Topics
All topics that are within the scope of the workshop shall be discussed:
- Heavy element studies performed at recoil separators on
- Nuclear reactions
- Nuclear structure
- Atomic structure
- Chemical properties
- Technical aspects of recoil separators including
- Targets
- Separation techniques (in-flight and post-separation)
- Detection
- Data acquisition and processing
- Experimental contributions are welcome, as are theoretical contributions supporting the experimental program
Venue & Participation
As in 2022, we will organize the TASCA workshop as a hybrid workshop.
Remote participation will be possible via ZOOM, and in-person participation will be on site at GSI Darmstadt in "Seminar Room SB3 3.170a" (former "Theory Seminar Room").
Please indicate in the registration how you would like to participate in the workshop.
Important Dates
- The deadline for submission of abstracts for the invited speakers is March 18, 2023
- A preliminary program will be available around the end of March 2023
- The deadline for registration is April 19, 2023
- Participants attending the workshop in person will have the opportunity to attend a dinner on April 26.
Registration is required at tasca@gsi.de (deadline 17 April 2023).
Please note that the dinner is at your own cost!
Contributions & Program
The program will include invited oral presentations in a plenary format.
The official language is English.
It is planned to make copies of all files / transparencies presented during the workshop, and make these available on the workshop website (subject to author's permission).
Authors are requested to provide the organizers with an electronic file before the end of the workshop.
Fee
No fee will be charged for the workshop.
