First meeting of the Helmholtz Inno Pool Project MATHIPE (MATerials under HIgh PrEssure) for the Synergistic use of Helmholtz photon, neutron and ion facilities for the investigation of materials under simultaneous extreme conditions (high pressure, high temperatures and high radiation dose).
Topics include:
- Synthesis and identification of novel (meta)stable material phases
- Ion induced synthesis of new materials
- Correlative characterization of high-pressure phases of quantum materials, energy materials, and nanomaterials
- Investigation of thermodynamic processes under extreme conditions on different timescales
