Please find here an overview how to reach the Internationales Wissenschaftsforum Heidelberg where the workshop will take place.
These are the options:
1. From the Station Frankfurt Airport Regionalbahnhof you can take the S8 or S9 (Direction Offenbach Ost Bahnhof) to the Frankfurt Central Station. From there you have two options:
- you can take the RB 68 (Direction Wiesloch-Walldorf) direktly to the Heidelberg Station or
- you can take the RE 70 (Direction Mannheim Hauptbahnhof) to the Mannheim Central Station and from there you can take the S8 (Direction Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof) to the Heidelberg Station.
2. From the Darmstadt Central Station you can also take the RB 68 (Direction Wiesloch-Walldorf) direktly to the Heidelberg Station.
At Heidelberg Station you can take the S1 (Direction Osterburken) to the Station Heidelberg Altstadt. From there you walk only 5 - 7 min by foot to the Internationales Wissenschaftsforum Heidelberg.
3. You can also take the Lufthansa Shuttle Bus form Frankfurt Airport directly to Heidelberg.
Following are the meetingpoints at Frankfurt Airport:
- Terminal 1, Arrival, Exit B
- Terminal 2, Departure, Exit 8
The point of arrival in Heidelberg calls: Crowne Plaza Heidelberg City Centre.
From there you have to walk to the Station Seegarten and take the Bus 33 (Direction Ziegelhausn, Köpfel) to the Station Heidelberg, Altstadt. From this Station you walk only 5 -7 min by foot to the Location Internationales Wissenschaftsforum Heidelberg.
