Beschreibung
I will present recent lattice results on fluctuations of conserved charges and the Polyakov loop expectation value as well as of its fluctuations in 2+1 flavor QCD. The relation of these quantities to deconfinement transition in QCD will be discussed. In particular, I will show that the deconfinement temperature coincides with the chiral transition temperature. Furthermore, at high temperatures contacts between the lattice calculations and weak coupling calculations will be made.
