The TSR storage ring at MPI für Kernphysik in Heidelberg shut down its operation at the end of 2012. It is proposed to install the TSR at the HIE-ISOLDE facility at CERN to provide a capability for experiments with stored secondary beams. In the talk an overview of the TSR@ISOLDE facility will be given. Further the feasibility of some TSR@ISOLDE experiments will be presented from the accelerator point of view. For example, the 7Be experiment will be discussed to measure the half-lives in different atomic charge states. In connection with these experiments the detection limit of the Schottky noise measurements will be examined. In addition mass measurements at TSR@ISOLDE are discussed and the viability of proton pick-up reactions will be investigated.
