The SAMURAI International collaboration Workshop 2026 as part of an EMMI workshop will be held at the GSI Hörsaal,  GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung from 2nd to 4th of July 2026.

Similar to previous years the workshop will feature presentations and discussion covering the various aspects of SAMURAI experiments including,

  • New proposals, letters of intent or experimental ideas
  • Reports on development and/or performance of new and existing detectors
  • Analysis reports of previous experiments and their results
  • Preparation for upcoming experiments, test or commissioning runs

Collaboration members interested in giving a presentation are invited to provide a title of their presentations when registering for the workshop.

The proponents of new proposals or re-submissions are also requested to provide a brief outline of their proposals well in advance. The preproposals should be submitted to samurai-contact@ribf.riken.jp, which will be distributed to the board members before the workshop.

The meeting is scheduled immediately following the R3B-SAMURAI symposium, which requires a separate registration. Please visit the corresponding indigo page https://indico.gsi.de/event/24786 for more information

In case of any inquiries, please contact the workshop organizers at loc-tuda@ikp.tu-darmstadt.de
