Room: C27 3.010 - C27 Ebene 3 I'd like to talk a bit about the (not so) small linker infrastructure that is involved in running most C++ programs and usually just works, but can lead into surprising rabbitholes when it doesn't and also offers some less known features. - Linker fundamentals - Common problems and tools to investigate them (ldd, LD_DEBUG, objdump, patchelf, ...) - alternative linker implementations - advanced features: architecture dependent linking, gnu indirect functions
