Beschreibung

The author's calculation of the 10-th order QED coefficient was (partially) accomplished in 2019. Since that, a discrepancy of 4.8 sigma with the previously calculated value (by T. Aoyama, M. Hayakawa, T. Kinoshita, M. Nio) existed. It was resolved in 2025. This will be discussed. The following questions will also be covered:

  1. challenges;
  2. the method of calculation (including divergence elimination and renormalization, Monte Carlo integration, machine realization);
  3. computer resources;
  4. codependence between the theory and experiments.
