Compact EUV Sources: From Fundamental Science to Clinical ApplicationsHYBRID

Compact laser-driven sources of extreme ultraviolet radiation (EUV) have seen an exponential performance scaling during the last decade. I will revisit the underlying concepts, report on the current  state of the art and present a number of applications ranging from fundamental science to nanoscale imaging with potential clinical applications.
