● mCBM beamtime March 2025

• Currently in work: parameter update for BMON and the second diamond (S. Zharko).
• The TOF mapping issues (swapping lefrt and right für some modules) is reported fixed by N. Herrmann, but there are still some dounts on the proper mapping for some TOF modules. To be discussed with N. Herrmann.
• Using KFPF as event selector is not yet fully implemented. Events will be analyzed, but all triggered events will be saved to disk.
• Issue with conflicts of histogram server with writing events to file (seen in the last day of the February beam time), is being investigated by P.-A. Loizeau.
  
  

Decision: We run the online processing in the configuration V0 trigger with no additional event selector. Events will be reconstructed and analysed with KFPF for online QA.

To be done:

• Add QA for the V0 trigger: for a pair of consecutive tracks, histogram
  
  • time difference
  • z position of closest approach
  • distance at closest approach
• Add QA for the CA track finder: impact parameter at target position.
• Start with the trigger settings last used in the February beam time. Based on the QA, adjust settings (e.g., min z vertex and max DCA, also single-track cuts).
• Also, the event builder configuration (event windows) has to be checked with the online QA and, if necessary, adjusted. Check back with N. Herrmann on the values he employs.
