Description

ATTENTION: KBW Lecture Hall!

The talk will explore the evolving role of nuclear particles in the Universe from their formation in the early stages of the big bang. The talk will investigate how certain properties of these particles, including when assembled into atomic nuclei, left a lasting imprint on the Universe, and indeed life within it. The latter part of the talk will describe present examples of experiments aimed at replicating and understanding these processes in exotic stellar environments. The ultimate resting place and fate of nuclear particles will be considered.
