I present a new value of the proton charge radius, based on the measurement of two different lines in muonic hydrogen. Using those two lines, we have also measured the proton Zemach radius and the size of its magnetic moment distribution. The disagreement between the proton charge radius obtained from the muonic hydrogen n=2 Lamb shift measurement and the 2010 CODATA value, based on hydrogen and deuterium spectroscopy as well as electron-proton scattering data, is now 7 standard deviations. I will review hypothesis on the possible causes for this very large discrepancy.
