EMMI Open Symposium
Understanding light (anti-)nuclei production at RHIC and LHC
One of the main challenges for modern nuclear physics is to understand the production mechanism of light (anti-)nuclei in high-energy hadronic collisions. This research line also has important applications in astrophysics and indirect dark matter searches. During this open symposium, there will be an overview of existing experimental results at RHIC and LHC and of the state-of-the-art theoretical models.
Perspectives for future measurements and theory developments will also be discussed.
