Accelerator Operations and Development
The beam time retreat 2024 will review lessons from the engineering run end of 2023 and from the GSI/FAIR physics run that was completed in June 2024. Successful improvements, problems and the feedback from the experiments will be presented and analyzed.
The next GSI/FAIR physics runs, upcoming shutdown activities and interplay with other work will be discussed and planning information will be collected. Aspects of the upcoming FCC, any first FAIR beam events and of FAIR commissioning will be reviewed and included into the discussion.
The slides presented and written summaries from session chair-persons will serve as a basis for our upcoming work.
