In the frame of the EU ARIES program, workpackage "EEM-Efficient Energy Management of Particle Accelerators", GSI, Darmstadt invites to a one day workshop on energy efficiency of beam transport systems.
Energy efficiency becomes an increasingly important topic for particle accelerators.
Various aspects, with relevance for energy consumption and potential energy saving will be addressed in three different sessions:
a) Magnet Technologies, b) Operation Modes and c) Infrastructure.
The meeting will be held as Zoom meeting on April 26th, 2021.
We invite you to present your own activities in this area or to forward this email to interested and involved colleagues.
