Sebastian Zimmermann, SMI Vienna, "Status Update B-TOF"

A new Post Doc at SMI, Svetlana Chesnevskaya,  will work on
the PANDA BTOF prototype. She will study the impact on chamfers of the
wrapped scintillator tiles. A prototype railboard has arrived at SMI. The
thickness of 3mm is a challenge for through hole components like plugs.
For the final board this is no problem due to the exclusive use of SMD parts.
He showed also the status of the analysis of the CERN 2018 beam time.
