Travel Information

Your Journey To Groningen

⇒By Train from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol
Trains connect the airport Schiphol to Groningen twice an hour. One option is a direct train to Groningen, with the other (which then has destination Leeuwarden) you have to change trains in Zwolle. This is an easy transfer, you can simply board the train on the opposite platform. You can check the departure schedule here. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket machines (no cash) or at the NS Information Desk. Both are located near the train platforms. IMPORTANT: after purchasing your ticket, you need to ‘activate’ it by checking in (hold it in front of the check-in posts). A failure to do so may result in a fine.

⇒By Bus from Groningen Airport Eelde
There is a bus going directly from Airport Eelde to Groningen twice an hour. You also have other options, but in that case you’ll have to change busses. You can check the bus schedule here.

⇒By Car
Just enter the address in Google Maps or your navigation system. Be sure to rest well before getting in your car, and take a break once every 2 hours.

Getting To The Conference Venue
