The next THRILL Summer School will take place from 7th to 13th July 2026 at the Darmstädter Haus in Hirschegg, Austria. The focus of the school will be on Applications of High Energy / High Power Lasers. Lectures and hands-on sessions on the following topics will be included:
- Warm-dense matter research, magnetic field generation, dynamic compression of materials
- Secondary sources of particles and radiation for medical applications and high-field QED
- Inertial Fusion Energy
- Nuclear Photonics
- Laboratory Astrophysics
This is the tentative timeline for registration:
- 1st January 2026: applications open
- 15th March 2026: applications close
- 1st April 2026: participants will be informed about successful application
