Description
The discovery of the neutrino oscillations has been awarded the Nobel Prize in physics in 2015 and the Breakthrough prize in fundamental physics in 2016. We will review how we get to the experimental evidence of this fascinating phenomenon and the implications in the Standard Model of physics. We will also describe running experiments and the program to be able to address the question of the violation of the CP symmetry in neutrinos.
