Status of the PANDA Endcap Disc DIRC Project, İlknur Köseoğlu-Sari, Giessen The progress on the read-out system and mechanical setup was presented. The space requirements are still a problem and solutions are needed. This concerns HV cables, LV cables optical links and the cooling system for the FPGA. Search for space in direction towards the GEM tracker are not yet successful. Ilknur showed also updated results of the test beam at CERN 2018. Tests of MaPMT and electronics for Forward RICH, Ivan Kuyanov, Budker. Ivan showed the PANDA Forward RICH baseline design and reported about test beam results with electrons at the BINP VEPP-4M accelerator in 2019. They measured 128 electronic channels with PADIWA+TRB3 and the other 128 channels with the DiRICH system. They measure 1.8 times less photons than expected. The reason for that is a reduced QE of the MAPMT (H12700) which was was confirmed by a laser measurement. Status of Barrel DIRC Call for Tenders, Jochen Schwiening, GSI Jochen explained the current status of the tender process of the MCP-PMTs. The two vendors agreed to produce a demonstrator to allow measurements and verification of the required specifications. Update on lifetime measurements of MCP-PMTs and status of afterglow and saturation measurements, Daniel Miehling, Erlangen Daniel showed the updated accumulated charges of the MCP-PMTs. For Photonis the best sensor is at 25 C/cm2 and for Hamamatsu at almost 11C/cm2. He showed effects of afterglow, saturation and recovery time. They affect not the Barrel DIRC but shoud be further investigated for the EDD. Further investigations of Photonis 9002150, DiRiCH and Photonis ES440, Merlin Boehm, Erlangen Merlin showed 140ps and 125ps timing precision of the DIRICH system when using a 1pf and 10pf signal shaping capacitor, respectively. Other capacity values should be measured in the future.
