The latest B-TOF design, Sebastian Zimmermann (Vienna)

Sebastian showed the new design of the PCB-board holding the SciTils.
Since the conventional FR4 PCB material absorbs too much of the signals
amplitude, a different low loss material Rogers 4003C is used. For that
reason the PCB-board consists now of 4 smaller boards. The original
fixture of the scintillator by the SiPMs is now done by a special
formed housing. This takes away the mechanical stress of the SiPMs and
prevents a possible deterioration of the optical coupling between SiPM and
scintillator. A more realistic calculation of the radiation length yields now
X/X0 = 5%.
