Beschreibung

The first part of the presentation discusses various technologically relevant applications for Terahertz radiation, including spectroscopy, astronomy and communication amongst others. In the second part, I will introduce several concepts for high power Terahertz sources which are often necessary to perform and analyze interactions of THz light with plasmas. The last part of the talk shows some examples of THz plasma physics.
