The two laser facilities: ELFIE and LULI2000 and laser operation will be presented. The modifications and improvements of the laser systems under development and recent results obtained on laser plasma physics, will be discussed. The future user facility Apollon Multi petawatt, multi beam under construction will be presented. The main goal of the Apollon project is the generation of 10 PW peak power pulses of 15 fs at 1 shot/minute. In this presentation the Apollon facility design, technological challenges and the current progress of the project will be described.
