Beschreibung
I will discuss some of the recent developments in magnetometry based on atomic vapor, especially, in all-optical magnetometers, as well as magnetometry based on color centers in diamond. Applications include, for example, detection of signals in nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), enabling Zero- and Ultralow-Field (ZULF) NMR. I will also discuss fundamental-physics applications, including the Global Network of Optical Magnetometers for Exotic physics (GNOME) and Cosmic Axion Spin Precession Experiment (CASPEr) aiming at searching for ultralight-particle constituents of dark matter and dark energy.
