 \, Ludwig-Engel-Weg 1\, 64287 Darmstadt\nWhat to expect:  This one-day HE
 PTrepreneurs Training School at GSI/FAIR helps colleagues across research\
 , engineering\, administration and other areas become more confident and e
 ffective in “selling” their ideas\, projects and capabilities – even
  if they do not see themselves as salespeople. The topic complements last 
 year’s workshop on negotiation and conflict resolution by focusing on wh
 at often comes before negotiation: convincing others clearly and honestly.
  No previous participation or prior knowledge is required.We will explore 
 how “hidden sales” appears in everyday working life: gaining support f
 or a project\, presenting yourself for jobs and fellowships\, explaining t
 echnical or innovation ideas to non-experts\, and making a stronger case i
 n proposals and funding applications. The day combines short inputs with i
 nteractive exercises\, case discussions and Q&A. One block will be tailore
 d to topics suggested in advance by participants. Selected sessions will b
 e streamed to enable remote participation.\nAbout the Speakers: Following
  on from the HEPTrepreneurs 2023 Training School\, we are pleased to welco
 me back Ian Tracey and Anke Lohmann from Anchored In\, who will guide you 
 through the programme.\nIan Tracey is CEO of Anchored In. He has over four
 teen years' experience in helping leaders working in research and technolo
 gy-intensive environments to realise their potential\, build their teams\,
  turn their ideas into businesses and win investment. He has worked with S
 MEs and organisations such as STFC\, CERN\, Innovate UK\, Innovate UK Busi
 ness Growth and Innovate UK Business Connect.\nAnke Lohmann is the Founder
  and Chair of Anchored In. Throughout her career\, she has worked across a
 cademia\, start-ups\, SMEs\, and multinational companies\, covering the fu
 ll innovation journey from applied R&D and product development to technolo
 gy commercialisation and innovation policy. She has extensive experience i
 n connecting research with industry\, including establishing the UK’s na
 tional quantum technology network at Innovate UK KTN. Today\, she supports
  researchers\, companies\, and policymakers in accelerating innovation\, t
 ranslating technologies into real-world impact\, and developing innovation
