Electric Mobility – a Complex System

Taking into account environmental and socio-economic boundary conditions of the next decades, future mobility is a challenge and a chance. Electric mobility is one strategy to assure future individual mobility. The conversion from fossil fuel driven mobility to an electric mobility has to be a systematic approach. Topics are renewable power generation, smart grid integration, battery technology, electrical drive train technology, lightweight design as well as socio-economic and political aspects. The talk will give a brief overview of the system electric mobility.
