Development strategy beyond VT25

For the VT25, we aim at minimal online computing, namely digi-based event triggering and no further event selection, in particular no online track reconstruction. This corresponds to the day-1 opertion of CBM The real CBM goal is to run at high rate at apply online data selection basedon physics triggers. We shall discuss the status and next steps towards that, in particular how to assess our needs for GPUs.

Digi-based trigger and event selection parameters for VT25

For the Vertical test, we intend to use a trigegr based on ime clusters of TOF digis. We need to define the parameters for this triggers (trigger time window, multiplicity threshold) and those for the event building (offets and time windows for each detector).
