Description
Explosive astrophysical scenarios such as novae, X-ray bursts and supernovae require input on the properties and reactions of unstable nuclei.
These influence the pathways of nucleosynthesis, observed elemental abundances, and energy generation. A variety of imaginative and interlocking experimental techniques are being developed to address this challenge. These will be described in the presentation.
