Exploring the Phase Diagram of QCD

In this talk I will discuss some of the properties of strongly interacting matter at high temperature and density. 
After briefly reviewing some of the findings at high collision energy, I will mostly discuss recent efforts to study the properties of strongly interacting matter at finite density, in particular its phase structure and how to explore it experimentally.
